Letter columns often filled the backs of comics, filled with praise, dismissals, and requests for superhero team ups as authored by fans.
The first couple issues, though, could have no letters. So the artist would often write a note about the series, why it was made, and what it's going to do. This is about a post-apocalyptic boy reawakening in a much different world than ours.
