MINUStheEGO tears up this track based off of haha, Radical's (often performed) cover of Gangsta's Paradise. Except we tuned that half a step down and added notes to chords so that the government would view it as musicologically different.
MINUStheEGO showed up to the studio to lay down some phhhhaaaat vocals ptr processed later.
Other sounds heard in the mix come from household objects (brooms, brushes, empty cans and bottles) and were recorded in fairly spontaneous rows of overdubs after the initial beat was laid down.
We performed the lyrics to the original song while recording, but did not focus a mic on them intently, hoping that the spectre of that song could haunt this new tune. One that tries so hard to be different, but is actually
